St. Barnabas Episcopal Church celebrates Holy Eucharist Sundays at 8 and 10 a.m. The 8 a.m. Rite I liturgy uses traditional language without music; the 10 a.m. Rite II service uses modern language and music and streams live. Morning Prayer meets Tuesday and Thursday at 10, subject to pastoral emergencies. A spoken Eucharist and Bible study meet Wednesdays at 10 except during summer. Each Sunday liturgy is organized around Scripture in the first half and Holy Communion in the second. Baptism is the sole requirement for receiving bread and wine, and baptized children are welcome at the table.

The parish openly invites questions and describes Episcopal Christianity as drawing from both Catholic and Protestant traditions within the worldwide Anglican Communion. St. Barnabas traces local worship to January 1867, regular services to 1880, and its first church building to 1882. A 1911 fire destroyed the wooden church; a stone replacement later gained stained glass and paintings by Rhode Island artist Karl Rittman. St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Warwick Neck joined the parish in 2009.
