About this church

Sanctuary of Praise is an Anderson congregation describing itself as a real church discipling real people with real love. Sunday School leads children toward Christ and biblical knowledge before the church gathers for Worship and Word. Student ministry builds a spiritual foundation through worship, media, music, prayer, and teaching led partly by teenagers themselves. Adult ministries, community outreach, and Shepherd’s Pantry give people ways to grow, serve, and receive help beyond the main sanctuary.

Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m., with children checking in from 9:45 and being dismissed from the main sanctuary to their classes at 10:00. Worship and Word follows at 11:00. Midweek Bible study begins at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, when Called Out Youth Ministries also holds its weekly service for ages twelve through eighteen in the Youth Sanctuary. The student gathering uses modern music, high energy, and timeless biblical messages, with young people serving in sound, lighting, cameras, and worship leadership. Shepherd’s Pantry distributes food, clothing, and other resources on the last Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon; recipients are asked to bring identification.
