Calidonia Missionary Baptist Church

About this church

Calidonia Missionary Baptist Church in Batesburg-Leesville gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. in its sanctuary. The church describes the service as a Spirit-filled time of worship and community under the teaching of Pastor Patricia Smith-Wright. Its public welcome focuses on turning the hearts of members and families toward Christ by equipping and empowering disciples. The Old 96 Indian Trail address and a single recurring worship hour make the Sunday morning service the clearest first step for visitors.

Calidonia's mission statement is built around Jesus' Great Commission: making disciples, baptizing, and teaching people to follow his commands. Its accompanying vision emphasizes walking in Christ's love, power, and authority as the congregation works for spiritual growth and the wider Kingdom of God. The ministry page identifies a children's music ministry, and the church also invites members to support the work of its ministries and the continuing stewardship of its newer worship facility. The official website is less detailed than many large congregational sites, so it does not publish a complete nursery, Sunday School, accessibility, or midweek schedule. Families and visitors seeking those particulars should contact the church before arrival. What can be planned confidently from current first-party information is a 10:30 Sunday gathering centered on worship, biblical teaching, and a Missionary Baptist commitment to discipleship.
