Northeast United Methodist Church is a Columbia congregation combining a largely traditional service with some contemporary music, Christian education, prayer, children’s formation, youth community, missions, and post-worship fellowship. A brief Upper Room prayer gathering meets by phone Wednesday at 6:00 a.m., ordinarily lasting fifteen to twenty minutes. Visitors can choose only worship at 10:00 or begin with education at 9:00; families should distinguish the in-sanctuary Lamb’s Corner from nursery care, and anyone joining the early prayer meeting should request the current call-in information.
