St. Timothy Lutheran Church and Children's Center

About this church

St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Goose Creek offers traditional worship Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and contemporary worship at 11. Both services include Holy Communion and carry a “come as you are” invitation. The two-hour separation lets visitors choose by style rather than by sacramental availability. St. Timothy's Children's Center shares the campus but operates as a weekday preschool and kindergarten: classes for ages two through four run from 8 a.m. to noon, kindergarten from 8 to 1, and the school year extends from mid-August through May. Enrollment materials are published for 2026–27.

The congregation belongs to the North American Lutheran Church and describes its mission as proclaiming the Gospel, affirming Scripture's authority, calling people to discipleship, and sharing a saving relationship with Jesus. Its NALC commitments are Christ-centered, mission-driven, traditionally grounded, and congregationally focused. Additional values include a biblical worldview, hospitality, compassion, ethical practice, teamwork, respect, and accountable relationships. Sunday guests should use the church schedule, not the Children's Center hours, when planning worship. Families exploring the school need a separate registration and tuition process through its director. Both Sunday gatherings celebrate Communion, so the meaningful choice is whether a household prefers the earlier traditional service or the later contemporary one.
