Holly Grove Baptist Church

About this church

Holly Grove Baptist Church in Laurens holds Sunday School for all ages at 10:00 a.m. and preaching worship at 11:00. Children ages five through eight may go downstairs for Children's Church after the announcements and music, except on the first Sunday monthly, when they stay in the full worship service. Prayer meeting and youth group are listed at 7:00 p.m. on the church calendar.

The congregation describes itself as gracious and caring, with an emphasis on honoring Christ through worship, participation, and service. Programs span age groups, and the church encourages people to use their gifts in the life of the congregation rather than remain spectators. Missions and community-care opportunities change through the year, so the current calendar is the appropriate place to confirm a specific project or youth date. A first-time household should arrive before 10:00 for classes and ask where each age group meets; families attending on a first Sunday should expect children to remain with them at 11:00.
