Loris First Baptist Church

About this church

Loris First Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation combining Sunday School and choir-led worship with children, students, prayer, discipleship, and community service. The adult choir provides musical leadership each Sunday, while Men for Christ, intercessory prayer, and age-based ministries create smaller settings for faith and fellowship. Its youth space, The Underground, was established in 2019 for students in grades six through twelve.

Sunday School for every age, from birth through adults, begins at 9:00 a.m. Morning worship follows at 10:15, with childcare provided. Youth worship and Bible study are listed Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday includes prayer and Bible study at 6:00, children’s programming from 5:30 to 7:00, youth Bible study at 6:00, and adult choir rehearsal at 7:00. The youth page additionally advertises a 5:00 Wednesday hangout before study and Monday and Thursday open-house hours, though families should confirm those daytime sessions during school breaks. Thursday intercessory prayer meets at 9:00 a.m., and Men for Christ gathers on the second Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
