Sweetwater Church of God

About this church

Sweetwater Church of God in North Augusta welcomes guests to Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., Sunday Prayer Force at 7 p.m., and Wednesday gatherings at 7. The church recommends arriving fifteen to thirty minutes early for conversation. Clothing ranges from jeans to suits. A typical service lasts one to two hours and combines a contemporary worship band—drums, keyboard, organ, bass, and congas—with frequent traditional hymns and a biblically focused message. Although services follow an order, the church says they remain open to the Holy Spirit's direction. Its mission is to help people everywhere meet Jesus.

Nursery ministry serves newborns through age three, while children ages three through twelve meet Jesus through Christ-centered worship, discipleship, games, and activities on Sunday mornings. Every children's worker has completed a background check. Pulse student ministry meets Wednesday at 7 p.m.; its broader Acts 29 group welcomes ages thirteen through young adulthood and focuses on love, identity in God, and a durable foundation of faith. Adults can connect through men's, women's, worship-arts, prayer, and missions ministries. Mission partners serve Zimbabwe, Honduras, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. Public pages do not specify parking, physical accessibility, child check-in or pickup procedures, Communion practice, or livestream availability.
