Pickens First Baptist Church

About this church

Pickens First Baptist Church offers worship at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Music blends contemporary praise songs and hymns, while preaching from Scripture is central. The congregation welcomes people from varied walks of life and describes its mission through worship, gospel witness, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and becoming a beacon of hope for people seeking a deeper relationship with God.

Dress is commonly business casual, but jeans and sneakers are also normal. Children's Life Groups meet at 9:00, and Kid Worship for first through fifth grade is offered during the 10:30 service; check-in is below the sanctuary. Preschool ministry serves birth through kindergarten. Xchange Student Ministry meets Sundays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for Bible-based small groups, with additional Wednesday connections. First-time families can pair 9:00 Life Groups with 10:30 worship and should arrive early for check-in. Visitors without children can choose either main gathering based on schedule, since both share the church's blended music and Bible-centered focus.
