About this church
Countryside Church is a Spearfish congregation founded in 1992 to create a welcoming church for unchurched and previously churched people in the Northern Black Hills. Its leaders wanted newcomers to come as they are, ask honest questions, receive practical biblical teaching, and find help for real life. Worship, prayer, instruction, service, community, children, youth, and adult relationships support a mission of helping people become devoted followers of Christ.
Sunday services begin at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m., both on campus and online. Countryside Kids operates four developmental environments: nursery for ages three through thirty-six months, toddlers, Discover for ages three through six, and Explore for first through sixth grade. Older children combine large-group music, video, and teaching with small-group discussion. New families can tour the upstairs children’s area on Sunday and use the ministry page to understand the age divisions before check-in. Countryside Youth meets Wednesday and combines games, live music, an encouraging message, and small groups, but the page does not publish a start or ending time; families should ask the youth pastor before making a separate trip. The church also offers guidance about apps and online safety for parents. Events and media pages carry date-specific activities and previous messages, while the two Sunday hours remain the reliable recurring schedule.
