Broad Street United Methodist Church

About this church

Broad Street United Methodist Church offers three Sunday worship settings in downtown Cleveland. Living Water, Living Spirit meets at 8:30 a.m. in Triplett Hall with a relaxed atmosphere, familiar hymns and choruses, and an acoustic ensemble. Sunday school begins at 9:30. At 10:45, visitors may choose traditional worship in the historic sanctuary—with choirs, handbells, pipe organ, and a printed bulletin—or the Connections service in Triplett Hall, where guitars, piano, bass, drums, vocalists, screens, and contemporary music shape the room. Holy Communion is celebrated in all three services on the first Sunday of each month.

The congregation describes its purpose as glorifying God through worship, study, gifts, service, and witness so that others may know God’s love through Jesus Christ. Music and worship arts are especially visible, but the church’s life also includes children, youth, adult formation, missions, and Wednesday gatherings. Its Children’s Learning Center extends service to families during the week. For a newcomer, the clearest choice is not simply between service times but between three distinct musical and spatial experiences on one campus. The official site carries current ministry and seasonal information, so families should verify children’s programming and holiday schedules before arriving.
