Grace Presbyterian Church

About this church

Grace Presbyterian Church in Jackson currently holds Sunday School for all ages from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 11:00. The church describes worship as reading, singing, and preaching the Bible, with pastors usually working through whole biblical books and applying them to daily life. Music combines psalms with traditional and contemporary hymns chosen for clear scriptural teaching. Visitors may dress comfortably, and ushers are available to answer questions. Children are welcomed in the service rather than treated as an interruption, with nursery space available when a family needs it.

Grace belongs to the Presbyterian Church in America’s Covenant Presbytery and traces its formation to the early 1970s. Its Reformed and confessional identity is paired with a simple mission: gather for worship, learning, prayer, and fellowship, then scatter to love neighbors, make disciples, and display the gospel. Children’s Sunday classes progress from denominational curriculum and Bible stories to the Westminster Shorter Catechism; adults study biblical books and Christian-living topics. Fellowship meals follow worship on the first and third Sundays, and additional ministries include women’s Bible study, men’s breakfast and study, and mission support.
