About this church

UKirk UTK is a Presbyterian campus ministry at 1831 Melrose Avenue beside the University of Tennessee. It is not organized around a conventional Sunday church service. During the academic year, students gather Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for food and fellowship followed by casual worship with Communion. The service follows a traditional Presbyterian order, with a sermon from the campus minister and music led by a student worship intern. The events calendar should be checked during school breaks.

Supported by the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and the Presbytery of East Tennessee, UKirk welcomes students from any denomination or none. The Presbyterian Center is normally open to students from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 to 4:00 Friday during the school year.
