St. Elizabeth the New Martyr Orthodox Church begins Sundays with pre-Communion prayers at 8:30 a.m., Matins at 9, and Divine Liturgy at 10. Great Vespers is celebrated Saturdays at 5; Tuesday Divine Liturgy begins at 10 a.m. and Wednesday Vespers at 6 p.m. Worship engages sight, sound, smell, movement, and prayer through Scripture, icons, candles, incense, liturgy, and Holy Communion. The Murfreesboro community began as a home fellowship of five families, became an Antiochian Orthodox mission in 2004, and celebrated its first Divine Liturgy in January 2005.

Children of every age are welcome in all services. Sunday School serves ages four and older from September through May beginning at 9:15, using a Bible- and liturgy-rooted atrium with hands-on materials. Ministry teams organize children’s activities, welcome guests, lead choir participation, provide meals and groceries during hardship, and support missions through Ella’s Café, local gleaning, and other practical work. Girls ages two through twelve have additional opportunities for service.
