Cedar Street Church

About this church

Cedar Street Church provides three Sunday worship choices at 214 Cedar Street in Sevierville. Traditional services meet in the sanctuary at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m., featuring hymns and preaching. At 10:45, a separate contemporary service meets in the Great Hall with a praise band and vocalists. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, and the table is open to everyone.

Children's ministry builds lessons around Bible stories, worship, crafts, snacks, play, small groups, and Scripture memory in a secure environment. Kindergarten through fifth-grade participants receive grade-conscious teaching, while younger children are supported through nursery and early-childhood care. Student ministry combines biblical teaching, worship, friendship, and service, with special activities such as retreats and mission trips; a student practice gathers at 4 p.m. Sunday. Cedar Street also operates a Tuesday-and-Thursday child-care program during the school calendar, with a shorter summer session. The congregation summarizes its mission as helping people grow closer to God, one another, and the community through worship, Scripture, authentic relationships, and service. Visitors who value hymns can choose either sanctuary hour, while those looking for band-led music can attend the Great Hall at 10:45. Families at the later hour should confirm which children's environments align with their chosen room.
