North Sparta Church of God

About this church

North Sparta Church of God offers two identical Sunday services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. Each lasts about an hour and combines energetic worship music with biblical preaching; previous services can be viewed on Facebook and YouTube. Visitor parking is reserved at the building's south front entrance and marked with green signs. Clothing ranges from dressy to casual, and guests are encouraged to choose what feels comfortable. The church describes itself as intergenerational and Spirit-filled, with a mission to connect people, grow together in Christ, and serve others.

Children's ministry is offered during the 10:45 service. Little Embers serves toddlers, Spark Kids serves kindergarten through fifth grade, and a staffed nursery is available for children who are not yet toilet-trained. The wider ministry list includes students in grades six through twelve, outreach and missions, hospitality and helps, music, and media. Wednesday begins with a fellowship meal at 5:30 p.m., followed by groups at 7. Connect Groups build relationships around interests, activities, or life stages and include prayer or a short devotional. Weekly Grow Groups focus more directly on discipleship through Bible, book, or topical studies, with most meeting Wednesday. Public pages do not state child check-in or volunteer screening, the meal's cost or reservation process, physical accessibility, Communion practice, or online-video delay.
