First Baptist Church Borger

About this church

First Baptist Church Borger schedules Sunday School for 9 a.m. and worship for 10:10. Midweek activities meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. The congregation describes itself with three priorities: Christ-centered, gospel-driven, and family-focused. Its welcome is directed to longtime residents, newcomers to Borger, people seeking a church family, and those just beginning to explore faith, with service recordings available for anyone who wants to observe before attending.

This multigenerational church offers children's programs, youth services, adult Bible studies, missions, disaster relief, social gatherings, and pastoral support from ministers and elders. Its doctrine treats Scripture as inspired, true, and authoritative and teaches salvation through personal faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is by immersion as a believer's act of obedience, while the Lord's Supper remembers Christ's death and anticipates his return. The church connects its gospel message to love for others and making disciples. A first-time family can use the 9 a.m. education hour before the unusually specific 10:10 worship start, then ask ministry leaders about the best age-level next step. The Wednesday hour provides another route into classes and relationships beyond the main Sunday gathering.
