Jan Lee Baptist Church

About this church

Jan Lee Baptist Church in Burkburnett sets Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. before the 11 a.m. worship service. Wednesday includes a meal at 5:30 p.m. followed by Bible study at 6. The congregation describes itself as a family of faith passionately connecting to Christ and a family of prayer. Its vision is a loving, dynamic, life-changing church passionate about Jesus, with a community mission of helping people know and imitate him.

The church identifies its beliefs with the Southern Baptist Faith and Message. Published teaching affirms Scripture as divinely inspired, one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, salvation through Jesus, and the church as an autonomous body of baptized believers. Baptism is by immersion, while the Lord's Supper memorializes Christ's death and anticipates his return. The same statement connects Christian life with evangelism, missions, education, stewardship, cooperation, religious liberty, and action in society. A first-time visitor can pair the 9:45 class with 11 a.m. worship, while the Wednesday meal creates a more informal setting before study. The church's direct contact route also welcomes questions and prayer needs, giving newcomers an option to connect before attending.
