First Presbyterian Church

About this church

First Presbyterian Church of Cuero worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m., with nursery care available for children through age six. The site's repeated schedule lists adult Sunday Bible study at 9:30, although one homepage line still says 9:00; visitors planning to attend the class should confirm the current start time. The church belongs to Mission Presbytery, Synod of the Sun, and the Presbyterian Church (USA), and states its mission as worshiping God through faith in Jesus, growing disciples, and caring for creation.

The congregation supports youth attendance at PCUSA-affiliated camps and conferences, including stipends for nonmembers as well as church families. Community outreach includes shared breakfasts, outdoor Church With No Walls services, family events, and partnership with CAMAL House. That volunteer-run ministerial-alliance outreach provides food assistance to hundreds of Cuero-area families from a separate West Main Street location on scheduled Thursdays. Presbyterian Women, prayer requests, and seasonal gatherings offer additional points of connection. A first visit can combine adult study with worship, but the published time discrepancy makes the main 10:30 service the more certain anchor for planning.
