Deer Park United Methodist Church

About this church

Deer Park United Methodist Church begins Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:00, both in person and online. The main service brings choir and praise band together in a mix of contemporary songs and traditional music. The congregation has served Deer Park since 1940 and describes its purpose as creating fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Guest parking is reserved on the west side nearest Center Street, making the correct entrance easier to identify on a first Sunday.

Children, youth, adult classes, music, care, and outreach give people several routes into church life beyond worship. The campus hosts a Methodist weekday school and Cross-Over after-school program, reflecting a sustained investment in children and working families. It also houses the Deer Park Community Food Pantry, open Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through the east parking-lot entrance nearest East Boulevard. The visitor page notes a cry room at the back of the sanctuary for caregivers who need to step out while still seeing and hearing worship. Current livestreams, sermons, newsletters, and sacramental information are available online.
