First Christian Church

About this church

First Christian Church meets at 2101 North Main Street in Del Rio. Sunday School for kindergarten through adults begins at 9:30 a.m., worship at 10:45, and children’s church for kindergarten through fifth grade at 11:30. Its weekday schedule includes men’s study Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., a women’s gathering at 10:00 a.m., and evening Bible study at 6:30 p.m. Visitors should check the official homepage for changes around holidays and special events.

The congregation identifies itself as a non-denominational New Testament Christian church devoted to God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Its core values emphasize prayer, biblical leadership, expository teaching, missions, and worship centered on God. The church describes that worship as a casual yet reverent blend of traditional and contemporary elements intended to serve multiple generations. Children’s and youth ministry, local relationships, and mission support add several entry points beyond the main service, while weekly sermon recordings let prospective guests hear the teaching in advance. This is useful context for someone comparing independent Christian congregations in Del Rio rather than choosing by location alone.
