Morton Baptist Church

About this church

Morton Baptist Church is a Diana congregation focused on sharing the gospel and serving its community. Its articles of faith identify the church as Southern Baptist, affirm Jesus as Lord, and regard the Bible as the inspired authority for belief and practice. The church covenant adds a practical picture of congregational life: Christian love, prayer, family devotion, religious education, care during sickness and distress, financial support for ministry and relief, reconciliation, and spreading the gospel. Programs for children, preteens, teenagers, adults, men, and women turn those commitments into age-specific fellowship and Bible study.

Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m., worship at 11:00, and evening worship at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday starts with a children's dinner at 6:00. Nursery through fourth grade, preteens in fifth and sixth grade, and youth in grades seven through twelve meet at 6:30, while adult prayer meeting and Bible study begin at 7:00. The staggered times let families feed children before classes while adults transition into the sanctuary study. The website also includes old date-specific children's and men's events, so visitors should use the standing services page for the weekly pattern and consult current announcements before relying on any one-time breakfast or activity.
