Liberty Baptist Church

About this church

Liberty Baptist Church of Frisco is a Baptist congregation on Main Street in Frisco that describes itself as a traditional, Bible-reading church. Sunday starts with a Bible read-through group at 9 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m. and the morning worship service at 11 a.m. The congregation gathers again for an evening service at 5 p.m., and a midweek prayer and Bible study meeting is held Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Schedules can change, so confirm times on the church website before visiting.

The church building dates to 1963, when a Presbyterian congregation built it. Liberty Baptist was started there in the early 1990s by a group of believers who wanted to share the hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ with people across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and its members now come from several surrounding communities. The read-through group gives attendees a steady way to work through Scripture together before Sunday School begins. Recorded sermons are posted on the church's YouTube channel, so visitors can hear the preaching before attending in person, and the church also shares updates on Facebook and Instagram. The website links to map directions for the Main Street location, and questions can be sent to the church by phone or email.
