Abundant Life Church

About this church

Abundant Life Church is a Garland congregation combining two Sunday worship services with Bible study, prayer, children’s and youth learning, meals, mission, and local care. Its ministry history describes work in roughly thirty countries, more than fifty mission trips, assistance for homeless and hurting neighbors, and a long-running broadcast and livestream ministry. ALC SHINE Kids and Power House youth help children and teenagers connect biblical teaching with everyday life and leadership.

Sunday worship begins at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Adult Bible study meets between the services at 9:30. Children’s classes and the Power House youth Sunday School begin at 10:30, and the later worship service streams online. Sunday evening prayer starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday fellowship, dinner, and Bible study begin at 7:00 in Fellowship Hall, with children and youth fellowship also advertised for the evening. A recurring event is listed for the second Friday of each month at 7:00, although the homepage’s accessible text does not identify the activity clearly enough to name it; visitors should consult the calendar before attending. The site also references the Shirley Pierce Memorial Food Pantry without current distribution hours, so families seeking assistance should contact the church directly rather than infer a schedule from office or worship times.
