Saturn Road Church of Christ

About this church

Saturn Road Church of Christ begins English-language worship Sundays at 9 a.m., followed by Bible classes at 10:15. A typical gathering lasts about an hour and includes congregational singing, Scripture preaching, prayer, Communion, and occasionally a baptism. Afterward, people gather around the coffee pots in the Family Center before moving into smaller Bible-study groups. The church encourages guests to “come as you are.” Its Spanish ministry publishes a 9 a.m. Bible class and a late-morning worship service; however, two official pages disagree on whether that service begins at 10:15 or 10:30, so Spanish-speaking visitors should confirm the current time. English and Spanish midweek classes meet Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Family ministries aim to help parents guide children and teenagers spiritually. The children’s ministry says every volunteer completes Safe Place training and a mandatory background check before serving with children. Other routes into church life include men’s and women’s ministries, college and young professionals, prayer, ESL classes, missions, preschool, and CPR, a volunteer-led summer reading program for neighborhood elementary students. Saturn Road teaches salvation by grace through faith in Christ, baptism by immersion, and the continuing practice of the Lord's Supper. The available visitor information does not specify parking, accessible entrances, assistive listening, nursery ages, classroom check-in, attire beyond its come-as-you-are invitation, or a regular livestream.
