Mambrino Baptist Church

About this church

Mambrino Baptist Church in Granbury meets on Mambrino Highway, with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and a worship service at 11 a.m. The Sunday service features congregational singing and expository preaching that works through passages of Scripture, and attendees are encouraged to bring a Bible. The church describes itself as elder-led and congregation-governed, holds to the New Hampshire Confession of Faith, and carries out its missions giving mainly through the Southern Baptist Convention's International Mission Board. The Lord's Supper is observed on the last Sunday of each month. Times are posted on the website; confirm there before visiting.

Sunday school classes serve all ages, using the Truth78 curriculum for children and offering adults seminars, verse-by-verse studies and topical classes. Nursery care covers birth through age 3, and preschool worship for ages 3 through kindergarten takes place during the sermon except on fifth Sundays. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30, AWANA meets during the school year for children and students, alongside youth group. Men gather for Bible study on Thursday mornings, and women's ministry includes fellowships and small-group Bible studies. In months with a fifth Sunday, the congregation shares a potluck meal after worship. Services stream on YouTube and Facebook, and new members' classes are usually held on Sunday afternoons.
