Bread of Life Baptist Church

About this church

Bread of Life Baptist Church holds early worship Sundays at 7:30 a.m., Sunday School at 9:15, and a second worship service at 11. The homepage also lists Zoom Bible study at 7 p.m. without identifying the weekday, so that schedule requires confirmation. Choir information likewise publishes 7 p.m. rehearsal times without a clearly attached day. The congregation's mission is to share love, hope, and faith through Jesus Christ and form a community where believers support one another through prayer, biblical teaching, worship, and active service.

Bread of Life was organized February 9, 1997, at Fontaine First Baptist Church. It met at Shadydale Elementary School from February through April 1997 before serving Humble from a North Houston Avenue location and later moving to its present address. Ministries invite people of all ages to grow in Scripture and use their gifts in church and community. Senior adults receive opportunities for fellowship, worship, service, and spiritual growth. Women's ministry meets on first Saturdays at 10 a.m. for Christ-centered fellowship, prayer, teaching, mutual support, and service; Brotherhood develops men through discipleship and faithful leadership. Public pages do not describe service length, music and preaching style, Communion or baptism, nursery and children, youth timing, check-in and screening, attire, parking, accessibility, hearing assistance, or livestreamed Sunday worship.
