Faith Baptist Church

About this church

Faith Baptist Church at 1301 Farm to Market 405 in Walker County gathers for Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. The official site currently shows two versions of secondary times: Sunday School at 9:30 or 9:45, evening worship at 5:30 or 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday Bible study at 6:00 or 6:30. Visitors planning those activities should call the church to confirm. Wednesday's page also lists a meal at 5:45 p.m.

The congregation's aim is to help people know Jesus Christ, grow in Christian faith, spread the gospel, and make disciples. First-time guests are met by greeters who can locate the nursery, classrooms, restrooms, sanctuary, and fellowship area. Worship uses songs, prayer, and Bible-based preaching, followed by coffee and conversation. Clothing ranges from shorts to suits. Children's and student ministries provide age-specific teaching, and second-Saturday outreach carries ministry into the surrounding area. The church's mailing address is listed as Huntsville even though its website calls the congregation Faith Baptist Church—Riverside; the street address and phone are the best identifiers when planning a visit.
