Friendship Baptist Church

About this church

Friendship Baptist Church holds Connect Groups Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and worship at 11:00 at 1248 West Hurst Boulevard. Worship uses a mix of songs chosen for both theological depth and emotional expression. The congregation treats the group hour as more than a permanent classroom: topics and teachers generally rotate after 13 weeks, allowing participants to choose a new area of study and meet different people.

Impact Youth meets Sundays at 10:00 and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., helping teenagers work through questions about faith and everyday decisions. Missions partnerships include support for Bible training and church work outside the United States, while local ministries emphasize relationships, Scripture, and service. A first-time guest can attend only the 11:00 worship service or arrive an hour earlier for the more conversational Connect Group format. The rotating curriculum means the exact class choices will change throughout the year, so the current groups page is more useful than an old generic description. Families bringing teenagers should confirm the Wednesday calendar, and all visitors can use the official homepage to see whether a special Sunday changes the normal worship plan.
