About this church
Christian Life Center in Kingwood holds its Sunday service at 10:45 a.m. in the gymnasium of Building D on its Russell Palmer Road campus, and a midweek Bible study meets Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in Building E. The church describes itself as an independent full gospel congregation. It was chartered in Houston in 1936 as an Assemblies of God church, met for years in the Freeway Forest area under an earlier name, took the Christian Life Center name in the late 1980s, and became independent in 2005 while keeping its long-held core doctrines.
The same campus is home to Christian Life Center Academy, a college-preparatory school serving students from K3 through post-graduate levels, with a daycare and an athletics program known for its prep basketball team. The church website posts an events calendar that can be subscribed to, a sermons page, and online giving. First-time visitors should head to Building D for Sunday worship and Building E for the Wednesday study. Because times and room assignments can change, it is best to confirm details on the church website or by calling the office before visiting.
