First Methodist Church of Livingston

About this church

First Methodist Church of Livingston provides three Sunday choices across two worship styles. Contemporary Holy Ground worship and a traditional service both begin at 9:00 a.m. in different spaces, followed by another traditional service at 11:00 a.m. The church streams and broadcasts worship by radio, and its directions note that Holy Ground meets on the second floor of the discipleship building. Visitors should therefore choose both a time and style before navigating the campus.

A midweek dinner adds a concrete point of community connection. Food is served from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., or until it runs out, with published adult, youth, and child prices; the kitchen also welcomes volunteers who can help once or twice a month. Children, youth, and music ministries have their own information pages for families exploring a longer-term church home. A newcomer seeking band-led contemporary worship should follow the Holy Ground signs, while someone wanting choir-led Methodist liturgy can select either traditional service and confirm that week’s broadcast information online.
