Westmont Christian Church is a Christian Church congregation in southwest Lubbock, founded in 1958 as the area around its donated five-acre site was growing. Its beliefs emphasize the Bible as the authoritative guide for Christian faith and practice, weekly Communion open to believers, and believer’s baptism by immersion. The congregation seeks to be Christ’s body, led by Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, expressing love of God and neighbor through worship and mission. Ministries span nursery care, children, middle and high school, adults at different life stages, music, and Wednesday study groups.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., when the nursery also opens. Family worship starts at 10:40 in the sanctuary and streams online. The church is at 4808 Utica Avenue, inside Loop 289 near 50th Street; its prominent building rises behind the Whataburger at 50th and Utica. Visitors are not expected to follow a formal dress code, and volunteers can guide children to nursery or age-appropriate classes. Wednesdays combine a meal with separate Bible studies and small groups, but the site does not attach one year-round start time to those activities.
