RCCG Lighthouse For The Nations

About this church

RCCG Lighthouse For The Nations in Mansfield is a multicultural congregation of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a network present in nearly 200 nations. Sunday begins with Sunday school from 9:45 to 10:20 a.m., followed by the Celebration Service at 10:25 a.m., which usually runs until noon. On the first Sunday of the month, the morning service becomes a Thanksgiving Service and runs until about 12:30 p.m. Midweek gatherings meet Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. Teaching centers on Scripture, the ministry of the Holy Spirit and practical Christian living, with a stated aim of offering hope and care to people who are hurting or searching.

Children's church and youth services are geared toward equipping the next generation, and women's, men's and family-focused ministries hold their own gatherings and events. Wednesday evening is set aside for Bible study. Outreach includes a monthly food pantry during the first week of the month, run in partnership with the North Texas Area Food Bank, and the men's and women's groups often help with food distribution for people experiencing homelessness and with elder care visits. The church meets at 711 E. Broad St., and visitors can contact the office by phone or email or sign up for the newsletter on the website. Times can shift, so confirm the schedule on the website before visiting.
