Shady Grove Baptist Church

About this church

Shady Grove Baptist Church is a North Richland Hills congregation that has served northeast Tarrant County for more than six decades. Sunday School, worship, children’s Bible teaching, choirs, AWANA, youth, adult fellowship, and missions create a multigenerational schedule. The church connects changing ministry methods with what it describes as the unchanging love of God shown through Jesus. Children receive age-appropriate music and Bible lessons, while adult groups include missions, luncheons, games, choir, and a monthly Wednesday potluck.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for children of every age and grade as well as adults, followed by worship in person and online at 10:45. Children ages four through third grade have a dedicated worship setting during the adult service. Children’s choir for ages two through sixth grade meets Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. School-year AWANA meets most Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00, with the 2026–27 season beginning September 2 after a separate registration night. Women on Mission meets on the first Monday following the first Sunday; dinner and childcare begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 6:45. Visitors should treat VBS dates as annual events, not a recurring summer week.
