St. Mary's Syro-Malabar Catholic Church

About this church

St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Catholic Church is a Pearland parish of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Chicago, preserving an Eastern Catholic tradition with Malayalam and English liturgies. Holy Mass, Eucharistic adoration, novenas, CCD, children’s Bible study, the Little Flower Mission League, Diocesan Youth Apostolate, Jesus Youth, and liturgical service connect worship with formation and Kerala-rooted Catholic community life.

Sunday Mass is at 9:00 a.m. in Malayalam except on the third Sunday, when it is in English. The 11:45 Mass is normally English, switching to Malayalam on the third Sunday. Mass meets Tuesday through Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Malayalam; there is no Monday Mass. Saturday Mass is at 9:00 a.m., in English on first and third Saturdays and Malayalam on the others. CCD meets Sunday 10:30–11:30. Eucharistic adoration is first Friday 8:00–9:00 p.m., second Friday 6:00–7:00, and third Friday 8:00–8:30. Children’s Bible study is listed Saturday at 4:00. The homepage also carries one-time festival and cancellation notices; those are not recurring schedule changes. Public pages do not specify liturgy length, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery care, child check-in, screening, confession hours, or which Masses stream.
