Church in the City

About this church

Church in the City is a Rowlett congregation bringing worship, prayer, discipleship, life groups, missions, and age-specific ministries together under one roof. A first-time visitor booth and greeting team help newcomers navigate the campus. City Kids uses worship, Bible teaching, crafts, activities, and games to serve children in age-based rooms, while City Youth gives middle- and high-school students their own teaching and community after joining the opening worship.

Sunday prayer begins at 10:15 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. City Youth starts in the main worship service at 10:30 and then moves to the student center for an age-appropriate message, food, and recreation. Youth also meet Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. City Kids is offered during Sunday and Wednesday services, with groups divided by developmental stage through fifth grade. Guests can begin at the visitor booth for directions and family information. Since the accessible pages describe the content of Wednesday children’s programming without publishing a separate children’s start time, families should confirm whether it begins with the 7:00 youth service. The announcements page is the best final check for special events or schedule changes.
