The Heights Church

About this church

The Heights Church begins Sunday Bible study for all ages at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship from 10:50 to noon at 4512 Sherwood Way in San Angelo. Evening prayer runs from 5:30 to 6, with adult Bible study from 6 to 7:15. Children’s Bible studies meet during the 9:30 hour, and Children’s Church follows at 10:50. The church describes its check-in and teaching environment as safe, age-appropriate, creative, and engaging.

Adult groups are organized around learning Scripture and applying it to daily life, with dedicated options for women, men, young adults ages eighteen through thirty-nine, and other participants. W.O.R.D., the student ministry, meets for Bible study at 9:30 Sunday and aims to help students form a biblical identity and become disciples who make disciples. Lessons are coordinated with material used by children and an adult Equip group, allowing households to discuss related themes. Community Groups add a neighborhood setting, meeting in homes during the final week of each month to build relationships and serve locally. A family visiting for the first time can arrive before 9:30 for check-in, use age-specific studies, and remain for the 10:50 worship service. Adults who prefer a smaller first connection can review the current home-group locations and dates before choosing one.
