The Springs Church

About this church

The Springs Church meets at 421 Springtown Way in San Marcos with a mission summarized in three movements: behold Jesus, become like Jesus, and belong in community. The congregation describes discipleship as transformation by the gospel for worship, mission, and life through the Holy Spirit. Baptism and Holy Communion are treated as continuing gifts for Christian formation, while Community Groups provide the relational setting for following Jesus together.

Kids’ Church is fully available during the 9:00 a.m. service. At 11:00, most classrooms remain open, while families with nursery-age children use a cry room rather than staffed nursery care. Elementary children begin in main worship and then move to lessons using a children’s Bible, Scripture memorization, writing, games, and small-group engagement. Middle- and high-school students connect through Youth Community Groups built around relationships, Jesus-centered formation, and a welcoming atmosphere. Those distinctions matter to families choosing an hour: nine offers the complete classroom and nursery arrangement, while eleven has modified nursery support. Because the main site material reviewed described the children’s schedule more clearly than the general worship listing, visitors should confirm current service times before arrival.
