Faith Lutheran Church

About this church

Faith Lutheran Church worships at 1326 East Cedar Street in Seguin. Its Sunday service begins at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary, with Holy Communion on the first, third, and fifth Sundays; recordings are available through the church's media links. Fellowship follows on the patio, and Sunday school meets from 10:15 to 11:15 for children, youth, and adults. Faith belongs to Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ and presents itself as a New Testament church seeking to bring Jesus to the twenty-first century. Special worship also follows the Christian calendar through Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter.

Families will find weekly Children's Church during worship plus age-based Sunday classes grounded in Bible learning and activities. Joyful Noise gives children and teens a Wednesday music rehearsal from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The community youth group, open to grades six through twelve beyond just church members, meets Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 for games, dinner, and Bible study, then again during the Sunday education hour. Camps, retreats, service projects, and seasonal gatherings round out the schedule. The congregation's stated purpose is to help people know they are loved by God and join Jesus' mission in homes, neighborhoods, and the wider world.
