Holy Comforter Episcopal Church

About this church

Holy Comforter Episcopal Church is a Spring congregation committed to worshiping God, loving neighbors, creating community, following Jesus, and stewarding resources. The parish explicitly welcomes people across races, ages, genders, ethnicities, and sexualities. Partnerships serving people who are poor, oppressed, or lonely connect its inclusive worship with local and global action.

Sunday begins with a quiet Rite I Holy Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. without music. Community Table offers food, coffee, and conversation at 8:45, followed by Rite II Eucharist with contemporary language and choir at 9:30. Discipleship Hour begins at 10:45, including children’s formation and youth group. The nursery is staffed from 8:45 a.m. to noon by workers trained in Safeguarding God’s Children, and a family room is available for adults who prefer a quieter space while keeping children in worship. There is no dress code; clothing ranges from jackets and ties to shorts and flip-flops. Worship bulletins are posted in advance, and the 9:30 service is available online. The first-visit page also mentions a 9:00 prayer service, so guests should confirm whether that occurs concurrently with Sunday preparations or on another day.
