Round Pen Cowboy Church

About this church

Round Pen Cowboy Church worships in person and online at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Wednesday at 5620 Michael Talty Avenue in Terrell. The congregation combines Western outreach with Spirit-filled worship and highlights active children’s and student programs. Youth in the dedicated youth building meet from 6 to 8 Wednesday, beginning before the all-church service and using worship, preaching, announcements, and energetic games.

The church’s ministry mix reflects its cowboy setting. Arena activities, occasional skeet shoots, and horseshoe tournaments sit alongside groups for women, young adults, people over fifty, children, and youth. Women of CLAY focuses on spiritual growth that shapes home, work, school, church, and community, while young-adult ministry teaches Scripture and Christian practice. Published beliefs emphasize the Bible, God as Spirit, Jesus Christ, salvation, baptism, Communion, prayer, and worship in spirit and truth. A first-time attendee can choose either weekly gathering without needing an agricultural or rodeo background; the church presents the Western setting as an outreach style rather than a membership requirement. Families with teenagers should use the separate 6 p.m. youth start on Wednesday, while adults arrive for the 7 p.m. service. Online participation is available for both worship days, but event-specific arena and group times should be checked on the current calendar.
