First Baptist Church of Warren

About this church

First Baptist Church of Warren is a Southern Baptist congregation serving its East Texas community since 1888. The church connects discipleship and service through Sunday School, worship, children’s and student ministry, prayer, music, women’s and men’s fellowship, and online sermons. Age ranges and weekly schedules are published clearly enough for families to choose the right classroom before arriving.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. Nursery serves children from six weeks through age four, children’s classes kindergarten through fifth grade, and student classes sixth through twelfth grade. Morning worship follows at 11:00. Wednesday begins with a fellowship meal at 5:15 p.m.; Children in Action, student worship, and adult Bible study and prayer meet at 6:00. The third Wednesday is used for a ministry conference. Children in Action serves age five through fifth grade, while the student gathering serves grades six through twelve. Instrumentalists rehearse Sunday at 9:00 and help lead morning worship. Visitors can review weekly bulletins and sermons online, but the homepage’s recurring schedule is the best first-stop planning source.
