First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church Weslaco offers three Sunday worship settings: Spanish worship in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m., an English GYM service in the Family Life Center at 9:30, and English worship in the sanctuary at 11:00. The Spanish and 11:00 English services stream on YouTube. Sunday discipleship classes meet in English at 9:30 and in Spanish at 11:00.

From September through May, Wednesday worship and ministries begin at 6:15 p.m. Children’s Choir, Treehouse Club, youth, and adult Bible study run concurrently until 7:30, except third Wednesdays reserved for the monthly Family Council, fellowship, and dinner. Nursery care is available during Sunday School and services. This bilingual, multi-setting schedule gives families substantial flexibility but also makes building location important. Guests should decide between the sanctuary and Family Life Center before arrival, while Wednesday participants need to check whether the date is a regular ministry night or the third-Wednesday council gathering.
