St. Thomas' Episcopal Church

About this church

St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church is a Wharton parish centered on traditional Book of Common Prayer worship, Scripture, prayer, and Holy Eucharist. Its mission describes a diverse celebration family shaped by Christ’s love and acceptance, with the beauty of Anglican liturgy and music offered for people of different ages and circumstances. The official site does not clearly print a current Sunday hour, so visitors should confirm the time directly before traveling.

Children and youth are integrated into discipleship and ecumenical activities with other churches and schools. After Sunday worship, visitors are invited to the Parish Hall for coffee, food, and conversation. Outreach includes care for seniors and homebound neighbors, annual community events, and a thrift shop open Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Laypeople serve as readers, intercessors, acolytes, altar servers, and chalice bearers. Even without a reliable online service time, these details give a clear picture of a sacramental Episcopal community with strong fellowship and local service.
