The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Old Mill 1st Ward, Heber City

About this church

Heber City, Utah has seven meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and the nearest to this one at 2395 S Mill Rd is about 1.2 miles away. Here in Heber City, the building provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.

Three congregations meet here on Sundays: the Old Mill 1st Ward at 9 a.m., the Center Creek Ward at 10:30 a.m., and the Spanish-speaking Fort Heber Ward at 12 p.m. Each sacrament meeting at the Old Mill 1st Ward takes about an hour, including hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from congregation members, with a second hour of classes to follow, Primary among them. There's no cost to attend the Old Mill 1st Ward, and no collection plate is passed around. A visitor hoping for a Spanish-language meeting will find one at the midday hour. Congregations here are organized geographically and, in one case, by language, which is why three groups share the building. As local schedules can change from year to year, a quick call before a first visit to Heber City is a good idea.
