The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Highland 5th Ward, Highland

About this church

Highland, Utah has 13 meetinghouses of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that the directory lists, and this one, at 10380 North 6000 West, is about half a mile from the nearest of them. Wheelchair-accessible entry, parking, restrooms, and seating are all available.

Highland 5th Ward meets at 9 a.m., Highland 12th Ward at 10:30 a.m., and Strasburg Ward at 12 p.m. The meeting itself lasts about an hour, built around hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from congregation members, and a second hour of classes comes afterward, Primary included. There is no cost to attend, and no collection is ever taken. Sunday best is common among members, but a visitor may simply come as they are. Three wards sharing this address at staggered times is typical of how congregations are divided by neighborhood in this area. Because these schedules are set locally and can be revised, a short call before a first visit is worth making.
