The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Thanksgiving Meadows 2nd Ward, Lehi

About this church

The Thanksgiving Meadows 2nd Ward meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at 3155 N Garden Dr in Lehi, Utah, one of thirty-eight buildings the directory lists in the city. The nearest other meetinghouse is about half a mile away, and this building has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating.

Three congregations gather here in sequence on Sundays: the Thanksgiving Meadows 2nd Ward at 9 a.m., the Cranberry Farms 1st Ward at 10:30 a.m., and the Sunset Hollow Ward at 12 p.m. Because ward boundaries follow neighborhood lines, it is common in this area for several congregations to share a single building. Each sacrament meeting lasts about an hour, made up of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members, followed by a second hour of classes and Primary for children. There is no fee to attend and no plate passed for donations. Attire ranges from formal to simple, and a first-time guest is comfortable either way. Since these start times are set locally and can be revised, a quick call before a first Sunday visit is a sensible idea.
