About this church
New Harmony, Utah is served by one meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 12 South Main Street, about 15.6 miles from the nearest other one the directory lists, in Toquerville. The building's parking, entrance, restroom, and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
The New Harmony Ward meets Sundays at 10 a.m. Sacrament meeting generally lasts about an hour and includes hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members, with a second hour of classes afterward that includes Primary for children. No fee or collection is ever involved in attending. Visitors need not dress formally, though many members wear Sunday clothing. Given how far the next meetinghouse is, this ward serves a fairly wide, rural stretch of the surrounding area. Since these schedules are set locally and adjusted periodically, a short call before a first visit is worth making.
