The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Summit Branch, Park City

About this church

Park City, Utah has five meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and the closest to this one at 6300 Silver Creek Dr is about 1.3 miles away. The building serves the surrounding mountain community on Sunday mornings.

The Summit Branch begins its class hour at 8:30 a.m., with sacrament meeting following at 10:50 a.m. That sacrament meeting lasts about an hour, with hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from congregation members; Primary is offered for children during the earlier hour as well. There's no cost to attend the Summit Branch, and no collection plate is passed around. Sunday dress is common, though a visitor need not dress formally. Because local schedules can change from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is a sensible step.
