The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Grove 11th Ward, Pleasant Grove

About this church

56 S 1300 W in Pleasant Grove, Utah is home to a meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The nearest other one is about 0.6 miles away, in Pleasant Grove, and the entrance, parking lot, restrooms and seating are all wheelchair accessible.

The Portuguese-speaking Grove 11th Ward opens the day at 9 a.m., and the Grove 9th Ward closes it out at 1:30 p.m., with 4 congregations in all sharing the building, each sacrament meeting lasting close to an hour of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and a second hour of classes to follow, Primary included. There's no charge to attend the Portuguese-speaking Grove 11th Ward and no plate is passed for an offering; Sunday dress is common among regulars, but a guest need not match it. Because congregations are assigned by neighborhood, this Pleasant Grove building serves several of them on a staggered schedule. Because these times are set locally in Pleasant Grove and can move, a short call before a first visit is worth the effort.
